EPTA7 x Orkus! — New Interview Online
We’re proud to announce that a new EPTA7 interview is now online at Orkus!, one of Germany’s long-established magazines dedicated to alternative, gothic and dark culture.
In the interview, Gianz Vukodlak and Miss Grey take readers deeper into the world behind EPTA7, exploring the origins of the project, its imagery, influences and the ideas that have shaped its identity over the years.
The conversation goes back to Dublin, where EPTA7 was formed in 2012, before moving into the symbolism surrounding the name and the recurring number 7, the creature that inhabits the EPTA7 universe, and some of the artistic and cinematic influences behind it — including H. P. Lovecraft and Tim Burton.
The interview also moves into more personal territory, touching on fears, inner demons and inspiration, and on one of the central ideas behind the project today:
EPTA7 is not simply a band. It is a world.
That philosophy became particularly important with Here Come the Freaks, where music, characters, cities, horror and visual storytelling all belong to the same universe.
A huge thank you to Claudia Zinn-Zinnenburg and the Orkus! team for the interview and for giving us the opportunity to introduce the world of EPTA7 to their readers.
And this is not the end of the story.
More EPTA7 x Orkus! is coming soon.
